The Order of Hospitallers now has financial partnerships to install the new financing system with all the countries that wish it and these programs require an organization whose dimensions cannot be estimated in advance and this therefore requires the Order hospitals to be built on very specific plans which could evolve quickly.

Work in the Order of the Hospitaller is carried out at all operational levels in the form of a consortium of Hospitaller working units called Hospitaller Ateliers, each organized as a thought and decision cell in charge of a specific responsibility confirmed within the Order of Hospitallers by a specific Hospitaller Mission.

Each Hospitaller Atelier is a cell made up of six Knights Hospitaller constituted under a particular status of company which can be understood as an Anglo-Saxon joint venture but which is in fact a company under French law, and this company will appoint a managing commercial company which will be managed by an employee manager, the Hospitaller Atelier Manager.
Chaque Atelier Hospitalier est une cellule composée de six Chevaliers Hospitaliers constituée sous un statut particulier de société qui peut être compris comme un joint-venture anglo-saxon mais qui est en fait une société au regard de la loi française, la société en participation, et cette société nommera une société commerciale gérante qui sera gérée par un gérant salarié, le Chef d’Atelier Hospitalier.
